Demigod Studios News and Articles / We are back
« on: January 18, 2017, 07:56:03 AM »
Hello everyone,

It's been a bit hard the last few months and forums have been very silent but things will start go on track again. Alot of changes are happening in Demigod Studios teams at the moment so it will take a while before we are back on our feet. I would like to give you some insight on what is going on with all Demigod Studios projects at the moment.

As a first step i would like to announce that we are working on releasing BioLAB for PC and more specifically on Steam. After some time being released on Google Play i think the time has come to take it to another platform so more people can enjoy it.

As for Neptune Rising we will prepare a public demo for all of you to try in order to pave the way for our crowdfunding campaign we will try to make. We have a long road ahead of us as we are trying to improve it before the public release.

As for After the Fall i have to say that the game is in a frozen state. It was a hard decision because alot of work has been done and we don't want all of this to be for nothing. In no way the project is cancelled, we just wait for the right moment in order to revive it. When we will have more news on it we will let you know.

Lastly i would like to mention that we have another unannounced project in development and we have made great progress on it. We hope to be able to reveal something in the coming months.

Stay with us for more news soon enough.

From your description it sounds like a Google Play bug or something.

Glad to hear that it worked for you.

I just checked it with a couple more devices and it works fine. It should give you some options like credit card or paypal and for sure it should have an option to redeem a code. I would have to guess this has something to do with your account and is not connected to the game itself.

Strange that you get this. In our devices it shows normally the payments methods.Maybe it is some temporary Google Play problem?

I will make sure to check your problem and reply back as soon as possible.

Version updated to v1.3

-Substantially reduced file size
-Fixed bug causing the game to freeze in the Intro on certain devices
-Numerous small bug fixes
-Numerous small graphical improvements
-Fixed expansion file down loader causing some devices not to download all the data

Unfortunately reducing the size more than 200MB would mean that the images would start to show blurry. So we decided that we would need the expansion file in the end. Nevertheless the final size ended being 213MB (around half its original size). We continue working on improving the game in any way possible. Thank you for your support and we wait more of your feedback.

Hello everyone,

We have good news for all of you. After the initial release we got a few comments regarding the file size and some bugs that made the game freeze right after the intro in some devices.

We are working on version 1.3 of the game and both of them have been addressed. We are working very hard to bring the file size down to under 100MB so we will not need any expansion files and we are very close in achieving this goal. Hopefully we will have the update ready in a few days for all of you.

I was about to give an update but wiggums beat me to it.

Yes after being in production hell for some time and with alot of changes in the production team it seems that finally we start to see the light in the end of the tunnel. We still have alot of work but the game for the first time starts to take shape.

Hopefully we will have more to tell you in the next few months leading to the release day.

Thanks for all your feedback. It is of great value to us.  :)

One small observation only. The units and buildings arrows are for decorative reasons only and don't have any functionality. ;) As for the rest of your comments we always take everyone's opinion into consideration.

Stay tuned for more announcements soon!!!
